I don't know if red leaves are more red this year, or if it's just me, but I am seeing them everywhere, and in greater intensity than before.

This is just the way the camera remembers this Japanese maple. Wow, eh?

I love iris buds almost as much as the open flowers. Some iris smells really good, too.







I like the difference between the sharp shadow of the grass (close to the sidewalk) and the blurry shadows of the higher branches in the tree overhead.....





Of course green things and flowers are not the only signs of spring in a college town.....
