you know it's summer when....

... the flowers are orange.

Buzz and I went to the vet today, to get a blood count to make sure all is well after chemo last week.

The two kittains I showed you a few days ago were still there. If you are looking for a charming kitten, head for Ann Arbor Animal Hospital. I played with them while Buzz was in the back room getting stabbed. They purred and purred, and thought it was very interesting to grab my glasses (hanging on a nylon cord). They were gentle, mostly keeping the claws sheathed (except when those glasses were just tooooo exciting).

When Buzz and I got home, I noticed that my first daylily of 2008 was blooming. I love daylilies......
