Here is another grass developed by people for a specific purpose.

This year there is a wheat field across the street from the entrance to the golf course.





There is wheat adjacent to parts of the course, as well.





Like other forms of grass, wheat is beautiful stuff.











Gorgeous, eh? Even without knowing it makes it possible for us to have bread....
