Go, Ous!

Congratulations to Ous Mellouli on winning the men's 1500 meter freestyle in Beijing!

Four years ago we bought a car whose main job was to escort the kid to high school. When a swimmer can drive herself to morning practice, the parental units can sleep rather than driving to school at 5:30 am. (Hallelujah!)

Our swimming-pool-aqua Taurus was named after Ous Mellouli ("the coolest name ever!"). Ous did an excellent job of taking care of our daughter.

We congratulate the original Ous on his victory, and remember our Ous, who was a very good car.
