quiche loraine

.

My daughter, who was a rather picky eater as a kid, has become a foodie.

Look what we had for dinner one night last week.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

You'll recall that a couple of months ago I welcomed Plum Market to our neighborhood. The first time I visited, the enticing aroma of bacon filled the air. They were giving free tastes of Nueske's Wisconsin Applewood bacon. I tasted. I bought.

We had eaten other dishes that were improved by this extremely tasty treat, but this has got to be the ideal platform for showcasing its delightful smoky goodness.

Cream, eggs, bacon. With a bit of crunch from the crust.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I am not a person who usually slows down and savors, but with this quiche, I surely did. Wow. Yum.

Happy sigh.

And then there was dessert!

Raspberries, strawberries, peaches........................

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I took at least 8 pics of the fruit, and not one was sharp. Sigh. At least you can see the beautiful colors.........

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Ahhhhh.
