still walking home, July 30

.

I crop essentially every pic. This is one of the few that I've kept just as I snapped it.

I have taken pics of coneflowers in past years, but I don't remember noticing all the bugs I've seen this year. A lot of critters enjoy coneflowers.

A portent of things to come.............

Curly Asiatic lily.

Stout and sturdy daylily.

This is a burrdock, isn't it? Wow. I've never taken a close look at one of these before.....

You know what this is.

Black-eyed susan.

Last spring we looked at a lot of doors painted to match vegetation.

This is the first time I've noticed a door matching the car.........

Oh my.

I have no idea what this is, but WOW, eh?

Edgy spiky translucent globularity?

Wow.

Wanna see what's inside, once it dries?

I love the fact that I am not the only person who takes 100's of pictures of flowers, close-up and personal! To me they are so fascinating and I'm glad you find them like that too!
Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the kind words and thanks for stopping by.

The camera sees all sorts of things I don't/can't see -- I don't carry a magnifying glass with me.....

I can see things like that hollow globe thing I blogged today MUCH better on the computer screen than I could see them in person at the time....

I'm glad you enjoy them, too.

ps -- love your most recent NY pics!!!!!
