more market, October 11

.

I suppose it would be interesting if I captured the variety names of all these apples.... Maybe I'll think to do that the next time....

Osage "orange" -- decorative, not edible. Basically spherical, about the size of a large orange.

Hot peppers. I like that we can barely see more peppers in the back (at the top).

More hot peppers.

Yet more.

In closeup.

Even more hot peppers.

Just before snapping this bread I tried to get a pic of sunflower heads/seeds. The pics were all blurry, which I mind more because I discovered that the ones on the left have sunflower seeds on them. Ah well.

I especially like the curves of the left-hand middle one.

Like the negative space, and like the way the green zings around, jumping from one apple to another..... (I did not pose these.)

Like the negative space, the extreme values, and the blush of red on the one apple.

Two slightly different shots of the same box of apples. I like them both....

Grapes.

Crabapples.

Virginia creeper.

More Virginia creeper, and lilac. We looked at this on the 4th, and it was WAY more red on the 11th.

The 11th was another gorgeous day.

When my kid was 3-4-5 she liked to run "far away" on this grassy space (run to the left in this pic), and then run back and be swung around and around.

This extremely cute little abode is my first house. The people before the people I bought it from took it down to the studs and redid all the plumbing and wiring. They insulated, and put up all new drywall. They turned the attic into a large usable space.

The guy who bought it from me takes impeccable care of it.

I loved this house, but not the noisy neighbors (barking dogs 24/7, teenagers next door, etc).

It is a perfect size for one or two people............ With 9' ceilings and BIG windows.................. [wistful sigh]
