Cosmos. Look at its very skinny leaves.....
Asters.
For some reason, the camera doesn't like purple. Especially in closeup. This is my best attempt at getting the color I remember. The next image shows the color I remember in the background........
Coral bells (with aster in the background).
Hosta.
Not sure what this is. Solomon's seal?
Maple leaves.
Liking the curves of those upper points.
Cosmos. My best closeup to date of the center.
Another excellent Main Street building.
Another urban pot. This one is in the window of the Clay Gallery. I know some of the artists who are part of the Clay Gallery (including the maker of this very nice piece) from my years as a student at the Potters' Guild.
Sunlight through a coleus leaf.
The planter which is home to these plants is maintained by the same people who take care of our downtown parking lots. (This planter is in front of a parking structure.)
Chrysanthemum.
Crabapples. The translucence........
Yew. Liking the shadow on the berry......
Hydrangea.
This is the one that we saw, full of enormous black stingy things, several weeks ago. It was white then.....
Persimmon.
