On the left, we see what we are supposed to see, in the way of dog footprints.
On the right, we see the prints of someone whose legs are just not working correctly.
A sad threshold has been crossed. He won't come down a flight of steps on his own.
This is probably a wise choice; I have seen him fall the last few steps.
He weighs 32 pounds. I am not looking forward to carrying him.
Sigh.

It's so hard to watch them struggle with what used to be easy -- but they know their limits and we must honor those. Give him extra hugs.
Thank you for the kind thoughts.
Extra milkbones for Buzz and hugs for you!
Thanks, Kim. Needed.
Still watching for Buzzupdates whenever possible, and hoping for the best for him...and you.
Sue
Thanks, Sue.
He's about the same. His rear end looks like it's drunk. It weaves, slips, falls down..........
It seems to help him if I throw a toy for him. He does better at speed than when he's going slow. It's as though the muscle-memory takes over for the brain-to-feet connection that's not working right. So fetching is a way to keep that muscle-memory going, is my guess........
He's happy, most of the time, (well, as happy as he is, he's always been more of a worrier than a happy corgi). He doesn't like that his brother is more mobile than he is, and it makes him crabby, sometimes, when Wilbur goes roaring by.
He's hanging out with me, like always, and liking lying on soft stuff. :-)
Thanks for thinking of us.
