Back to Gambier.
Admire sycamore. (Can't bring myself to shop the poles and wires out of this not very sharp or contrasty image.... Shopping wires out of tree branches is a major pita. Sky, pretty easy; blue sky, piece of cake; trees, painful and tedious.)
Warm up.
Dry off.
Chat.
Stretch.
Chat with someone from your high school team as you cheer for your respective college teammates.
Race. (note snow accumulating outside....)
Head to Mt. Vernon for lunch.
Admire tree(s?) with synchronized growth on the side of the road on the way to Mt. Vernon.
Ruby Tuesday's chicken and white bean chili quite nice, and the salad bar is good.
Back to Gambier.
This part of Ohio really very up and down and round and back.
Admire sycamore. (Shopped this time.)
Drop kid for restful afternoon.
Enjoy Kenyon's pretty campus.
Not sure why an identifying sign is seen as one leaves.....
Back (up and down and up and down) to Mt. Vernon.
Admire the twins.
Not a very nice day. Blowing snow almost horizontal.
Into Mt. Vernon.
Have our own restful afternoon.
Check out the weather before heading back to Gambier early so we won't have to hurry on snowy and possibly slippery roads.
Get your team spirit on.
Cheer.
Warm up.
Race.
Cool down.
Eat!
Drop kid at dining hall. Go back to Mt. Vernon.
We're glad we'll see her again very soon!
