Yesterday's post got us almost to the big road. US23 is divided, but along this stretch it is not limited access.
While we wait for the light -- teasel beside the road. I'm enjoying the curly leaves, as well as the seed pods which I know are prickly. (as always, click on a pic to see a bigger version)
Kinda different from Ohio 229.....
More Big Sky.
Love the rust with the teal.........
Three images of one tree.
And then it was my turn to drive.

I have always loved teasel even knowing they are an obnoxious weed! They have such a personality. :) I bet you're really looking forward to arriving back home!
I love teasel from afar, too.
:-)
It's really not a long trip -- only about 3.5 hours. It's just that I took a lot of pictures on the way home.
Given the dirt on the outsides of the windows, and the reflections on the insides, and going fast in the car, I was very surprised that so many of the pics are ok!
Maybe they're all too much alike -- so many tree skeletons....
I get frustrated, in town, because any time you see an excellent tree, it's covered with wires, and stoplights, and it has buildings behind it..... So I guess I had a bit of pent-up desire to capture tree skeletons, which I maybe went a bit overboard indulging here....
