On my way downstairs, just moments ago, I spotted this shadow on the wall. Paraphrasing Calvin, what will happen to *her*?
In person, she looks utterly unconcerned.
These toys have been on this windowsill for years, and this woman has suffered. Her back is faded, and seems to be shrinking.....
At the other end of the same windowsill....

The shadow in the first pic looks like a nice kid leaning down to pet his rabbit.
How was I to know it was a figurine eating hippopotamus!! Aauuggghhh!!!!
Oh that's funny.
Of course I knew it was a hippo, so my reaction to the shadow was that she was leaning away from those jaws....
I totally didn't see the possibility that she was leaning toward a critter with big ears...........
