Wishing for everyone everywhere that we be a bit greener. That we all have some bows, and some red warmth, and some pristine white clear thought and sound decision-making. A bit of chartreuse unexpected pleasure never goes amiss.
Wishing all of you as much of the good of the season as possible.
Can't resist a parenthetical note -- a new hydrangea! I never thought of hydrangeas as pot plants, but I took pics of another in Mt. Vernon as well as this one. I don't remember seeing one before that was double.....
Never let it be said that I am closed-minded. Presented with evidence that contradicts my views, I will readily change my mind. As evidenced by my new fondness for hydrangeas and red-leaved redbuds.

Thanks for the tip on hydrangeas as potted indoor plants. I fell in love with them in Brussels, but I don't think they can withstand the summer heat in Colorado.
You are welcome. I never thought of them as pot plants, either, but there they were. Check your grocery store. :-)
Hi Gail - Merry Christmas to you and yours, as the saying goes. That banana bread looks yummy - and it was nice to see a picture of Buzz, brave little guy that he is. Enjoyed all your pictures of Poinsettias :-) T.
Oh, I forgot - re: videos - I loved that song that the women sang, but OMG, can you imagine living next to that house with the lights - LOL, what a nightmare! T.
Thanks, Tina.
I agree -- I love looking at the video of that house, but it would make me crazy to live near it!
I know that some people who do their houses up regardless have the music on a low-power radio broadcast, rather than blasting away on speakers.
So the watchers can choose if they want to tune in to the sound, and also have control over the volume.
That would be easier on neighbors!
