I decided I'd better get busy and avail myself of free stuff for newbies before my 30 days (as official newbie) run out.
I visited New Citizens Incorporated, and sat under this nice tree by this pleasant waterfall (which made soothing water noises).
Sort of interesting the trade offs for not oinking too many resources -- see how my feet are partly under the ground? If you look back a couple days ago when I was looking at winter stuff, you'll see that my hair and cape come right through the back of the sleigh.....
I've seen pics of women in long skirts sitting down, and their knees come through the front of the skirt (necessitating matching pants under the skirt, for modesty's sake.......).....
Then I visited Free Dove. There is a lot of stuff for free, but not much in the way of anything I would want......
I did get these black jeans.
The tiger tshirt I made, all by myself (well, with their tools), and likewise the jacket, which has "shag carpet" texture.....
I don't like the way the butt sticks out on this body, and couldn't seem to do anything about it, so I put the cape back on, even though it doesn't match my color scheme..........
I tried on some different hair, too, but didn't like any of it as well as this.....

I think the curvy pattern on the cape looks exactly like I drew it.
The cape is truly excellent.
The basic clothes stick to your body like skin. (Like the shirt and pants I've been wearing right along.)
Fancy (read -- more trouble to make) clothes are constructed of shapes, and when they are constructed of *flexible* shapes, that's the best. The same construction holds for hair, too. The "cheap" hair is stiff and just sticks out.
I, all unknowing, chose excellent hair that blows in the the wind....
The person who designed the set-up I started with clearly took a lot more trouble over it than some of the standard-issue beginner shapes.
Not only the excellent cape, (which has lots of parts -- the triangly bits on the back of the shoulders are separate and move separately from the rest), but the detail on the shirt and pants. And, of course the boots and gauntlets (two pieces each...)...
I need to spend some time figuring out how to make stuff; I think I would like that...........
