Our traditional Christmas morning breakfast. These go into the fridge the night before, and rise in the fridge. In the morning you take off the plastic wrap and stick them in the oven, and by the time you are done unwrapping (or maybe even before that) they are done.
Separate pans for nuts and no-nuts.............
Risen, ready to go in the oven.
Done. Yum.
Dogs, embellished.
Obligatory holiday road trip.
Poor working conditions. From the back seat, you can hardly take pics out the front window, and the back side windows fog up more than the front side windows.
Very low expectations................
Thank goodness for poster edges.
One of the better originals.
Cropped, wires cloned out, not-sky posteredged.....
Another original.
I probably should have cropped it so that the buildings were in the right lower corner rather than the left, but I don't feel like going back and messing with it....
When you go south, the pale trees are sycamores. When you go north, they are birches.
Color, some actual color....
Would I like it better if I really push the saturation? No, I don't think so.
Above the bridge it is pretty flat.
Big sky, Michigan style.
I forgot to say, when I posted this, that I missed the coolest pic of the day.
As we were zooming north on US23, I spotted a bunch of birds in the only unharvested cornfield I noticed. Big birds. Really quite big birds.
By the time it clicked in that there were, maybe, two dozen turkeys in that field, we'd passed it.
Ah well. I'd have been lucky to click one shot off, and chances are it wouldn't have been any good.
The only other time I've ever seen wild turkeys in person was last summer in July at the golf course.

OMG those look delicious!!
Loved the "decorated doggies" too!!:)
Really good. And not too bad for you, except for the goo, which has an awful lot of fat. And sugar....
:-)
We usually only have them on Christmas morning.
Those ribbons came on packages last year, and were on the tree this year. My daughter took them off the tree and decorated the dogs.
