This is a "Good riddance to bad rubbish" pic, but without hardly trying, it is also a red-car pic. As I finished taking pics, the kid across the street came home with his elderly red car. I took another pic, thinking I had four red cars. Then I realized that there are five, with one just barely showing above the highest branch on the right side of the tulip tree......
This really is a "good riddance to bad rubbish" pic. DH was on the schoolboard for an excrutiating six years, and there is schoolboard toxic waste going out with this stuff. Also ancient stuff of mine. Also the shredded financial papers and checks I talked about before.
When we put out paper, I mostly feel like we are running hard to stay in one place. Getting rid of the newspapers and junk mail that come in every single day (well, not Sunday for the mail....).
Getting rid of the ancient stuff, though, that's really progress.
A quiet huzzah.

Ya really gotta look for car #5!
Extra huzzahs for the lineup at the curb.
That represents a lot of work.
Yep, I never saw #5, myself, when I was taking the pics. It was only when I wandered into the study (pic taken from our bedroom next door), and so was a skotch farther south (which moved the tree a bit to the north) that I saw it there at the end of the block.
Then when I got the pics on "the big screen" I could see that a sliver if the car was visible there.
That IS a lot of work. Icky nasty hard work. Thank you. All strokes very welcome!
I have a low tolerance for icky stuff, and lately it's seemed like there is more than a gracious plenty for me to do. Makes me crabby. Rather sit and play with pics, you know? Or read a novel.
Hoping to get THROUGH it and then have less.
(Yeah, right, ha ha ha ha ha..... I shoudl quit hopign that, I am always disappointed when I hope for that and then more arises to take the place of what's gone, and that makes me crabby, too..... :-) )
I did get through a TON of icky stuff today (almost all computer related, no basement), some of which I had been putting off for months, so that's good, at least. And most of the *particular* things will never have to be done again......... Just tons more very like them........... :-/
Ok, not thinking about that, just thinking about what's done.
GO TO DENTIST is on my list for tomorrow. Icky, but all I have to do is show up. And endure. And then I get to come home and cross it off!
Better than thanking someone for something they did 10 weeks ago and I didn't manage to thank them for before, sigh.
Note to self -- procrastination is Bad.
I went to the dentists today, Monday. This is curiouser and curiouser.
Yeah, it was Monday morning I went, too.
It is very odd............
:-)
We don't even have to call each other up and arrange it (like jr. high girls coordinating their outfits) -- it just ... happens......
:-)
It is a new office (well, new to me), and they are ... much more vigorously thorough ... than the old. I had my roots reamed, and I can still feel it in some places.
One always wonders, with dentistry, how much of it is True.
I mean, I want to do whatever I need to do for good dental health. And not a bit more, you know?
