The rain cleared up during the afternoon, leaving us with blue skies and scattered clouds.

A short birdy interlude. I have no idea what kind of birds these are.

Birds have much more flexible-er necks than people!

Sitting on the band's equipment.

This is the highest deck that mere mortals can stroll.

Same deck; other side.

Turning 90 degrees right from the prev, we can see NASA. Our friend who lives in Cocoa Beach (directly south of our current location) can see the shuttles take off from the comfort of her own balcony. How cool is that?

Continuing to turn to the right, here is more of the port, including a cement plant.

Love the look of these slightly-eroded sand piles.

Here is where we are going.

We are under way. Looking at Cocoa Beach condos. I believe our friend's condo is in the neighborhood shown here.

More Cocoa Beach.

The beach, at Cocoa Beach.

You can tell how high we are. I don't usually get to see this view of the beach. I find waves fascinating, and hadn't ever seen them from this vantage point.

Our pilot leaves us as we head out into the open ocean.
