March 19 -- walking to work

.

Bark.

Tiny little woods, in a ravine.

Something green. I don't think this was put here by people, but I could be wrong.

Definitely put here by people. Tulips.

I was amused by this bolt "in the middle of nowhere" until I realized a whole manhole cover was there, under the leaves. Oh well. I still like the bolt amongst the leaves.

Evidence of last year's flowers. Rhododendron, I believe.

Barberry.

I do not know what this is, growing in someone's lawn. The flowers are teeny -- just a few millimeters across.

Trimmed within an inch of its life........

Old West Side (A2 historical designation) vignette.

Our favorite parking lot has Yellow.

Yellow!

Knives at Downtown Home and Garden, with shadows and reflections (see my feet and legs?).

Portrait of the University's Burton Tower (home of A2's oldest carillon), at the Clay Gallery.

I'm delighted that the weather has reached a level of comfort that would allow you out to walk (that means "take photos"). A trip to your blog is always a great way to start my morning!

What a nice thing to hear! :-) Thank you!

The best thing is that the bone-spur gremlins seem to have departed my foot! I walked in yesterday (but too cold and windy to want to linger taking pics), with no drugs (I've been taking ibuprofen any time I know I am going to be walking or standing).

Knock on wood, my foot doesn't hurt at all today.

Quiet celebration.

:-)
