.
On the breakfast table. The shine, shadows, and reflections caught my eye, but in the post-processing I thought the title should be
Requirements for Life (water, salt)
And tea.
Back in our room. Saturday was another gorgeous day.
See the reflections of the balconies in the dome?
Flowers, outside.
Flowers, inside.
The Barn, Cheryl Lennox
More flowers.
Our friend Mary Bajcz made this lovely thing, which is called Dresden Remix.
The flowers and the rickrack are my fave. And the strips across the 9-patches.
Nice job, Mary!
Red Carpet, by Hiroko Miyama
Gecko Medallion, by Leona Harden
My very favorite part of this is the tails wrapped around the outline.
Little S'Tinker, by David Taylor
Look at the eyelashes!
And the whiskers.....
Mary, this one is for you. I thought of ripping it off his back for you, but you are such a gentle person -- I didn't want to give it to you with that sort of karma, so all I have to give is this pic.....
The ladies's room in the hotel connected to the Rosemont Convention Center.
Roses etched in the mirrors.
And enhancing the floor.
The garden in front of the Hyatt, reflected in the gerbil tube. Someone repainted the curb red while we were there. The red swoops on the right are the newly-red curb.
Back in our room. I am sure we could see the increase in green that occurred in the few days we were there.
I like the way the red and blue curb speaks to the flag.
Did I mention we were right across the street from O'Hare?
The winds were just right, that evening, to bring the planes in right over the hotel. You can see three more, all lined up, in this image.
