Georgia's Kennesaw State University has an amazing presence on Second Life.
One of the first things I saw was this carousel.
Wow. Look at this.

My better half watched me jump off some impossibly high thing the other day, and remarked that in SL one need have no fear. True. Even if you land hard on the ground from an enormous height, you'll bounce, grunt, and get up and go on.....
That is good, in itself.
The flip side is -- you can't hurt anything else, either.

I loooooooooooooooooooove this piece!!!!!!!!!!! Easily my favorite SL art so far!
As you will have gathered from the sign about sound as we came in, there was sound.
I didn't like the sound as much as the visuals (would prefer that all of the sounds were soothing and pleasant), but that didn't stop me from loving this.
How cool, to be able to stand in the middle of it and just watch it go..........
