walking home on May 5

.

Crabs.

Low shrubby evergreen.

Yet another crab.

Gorgeous day.

So grateful that I can feel a bit optimistic for our country and our planet, in contrast to the last eight years.........

Fothergilla.

Sigh. Time to start avoiding Main Street for the duration. Not only do they have more than half the sidewalk blocked for most of the downtown part of Main Street, but you have to dodge the wait staff (as well as the other pedestrians) in the paltry walking space that remains.

Part of the window display at Peaceable Kingdom, one of my favorite shops.

My favorite chimney (and round window), with crabs.

Old gnarly maple, with new sprout emerging from trunk.

Dandelion. Mama Nature never surrenders.

Crab. This one is the darkest one I know.

Yet another species tulip. Such pretty little things.....
