Walking home. It had been stormy, earlier, and was still rather windy.
My intended subjects kept blowing out of the frame.....
Persisting.....
That's better.
Wet rose.
Storminess over, for the nonce, and the sky was very nice.
Iris.
Zinnias for sale at Downtown Home & Garden.
This one not as emphatically colored as its fellows, but look in the center..... An infinity of ... something ... waiting to open....... (as always, click on an image to embiggen)
Coleus.
Sky!
Phlox in front of fence.
Pinks and euphorbia(?).
Lupins.

I don't comment every day (though I certainly enjoy the posts on a daily basis). Your blog simply brightens my morning. Thank you.

Thanks!
And double-thanks for telling me!
:-)
I think the plant with the pinks is a sedum...
Sedum floriferum.
Don't ask how I know this stuff.
I can usually get in the ballpark with the idea, i.e. sedum, and then google images the rest.
I used to get plant catalogs, and I read 'em.
That's how I found out that I can learn things pretty painlessly through tons of repetition.
I, too, know a lot of plant names, and I'm sure that's why. :-)
Bet you're right about the sedum. It does have that look. :-)
