On the 14th, I got dropped at the bank. I'd tried to get money from the ATM on the weekend, but it ate my card. I'm hardly ever the one who gets money, and the bank shuts your card down if you don't use it in however many months.
So I needed to go in and get them to give me the card back and fix it so it could be used.
Don't you love it when the "helpful" things that are done "for" you just cause trouble?
Ok.
Cleansing breath.
Card retrieved, pin reset, cash acquired, enjoying the flowers by the ATM.
Not sure I've seen orange petunias before, and I have no idea what that white thing is.....
My favorite hydrangea in the planter in front of the library.
On the same plant!
You can see the blue flowers sort if hiding in the back....
The red-leaved redbuds.
We love these, but unless someone serious thins them (laughing hysterically; this bed is never even weeded....), they are going to kill all their neighbors. They produce some *serious* shade. They're not very big, but their leaves are big and dark................
I majorly loooooooooooooooove my little camera. I have carried it almost everywhere I've gone since I got it for my birthday in 2007. I am sure I've taken over 10,000 pics with it. It does such a good job. Just look at the variety in this post. Every pic hand-held, no special lighting or anything.
It takes nice closeups. It takes nice distance shots. It takes nice pics in the middle distance.
Happy sigh.
Another happy sigh for the weather. We are having a perfectly beautiful summer.
The red caught my eye. I have never paid a lot of attention to locust pods, but....
Do they always grow right out of the trunk and big branches, and are they always ... red?
I don't know, but these do and are...........
