This gardener read the book on mixing up colors and textures. Petunias, dusty miller, sweet potato vine (and I don't know what that darker reddish stuff in the back is).
You walk down under West Quad to get to these benches.
More dusty miller -- blooming. I didn't know it had flowers like this. Carried up high, well above the foliage.
Harbinger of things to come. Sycamore.
Daylily.
Hydrangea.
How little it takes for our eyes/brains to decide "face!"
The sky was dark, as I walked home on the 15th. I put the camera in its protective zip-loc at one point, but only the merest of sprinkles fell on us.
Study in gray and green.
