Threads magazine's email sent me to top ten weirdest dresses. Pretty weird. (Someone in the comments mentions that the broken-china one is similar in concept to the jade suits in which some emperors were buried -- so true! Only this is really tailored to the female form..... I'm pretty sure I've seen pics of someone wearing this one, but unfortunately it's not being worn on this page.)
The Threads article also sends us to a previous list of top eleven weirdest dresses. (My faves are at the very top of that list. I'd already seen way more chocolate dresses on Paris Breakfasts.....)
I kept waiting for the balloon dresses, but they never had any. How can they propose to be the weirdest without those?!?
ps -- even if you don't care about weird dresses, look at the balloon page. There are some costumes in there in addition to the dresses. Very cool.
