August 11 was the day the floor guy sanded our floor. We hustled home when he was done, so we could decide about stain (he put samples right on our floor so we could see....).
My better half was able to take Wibber to work with him. They went straight home from there, and I walked (and beat them home, hah! :-) ).
I stopped exactly twice on my way home. Once for black-eyed susans, and once for hibiscus.......
These were the size of dinner plates. Goodness.

Last year I had to try three or four times before I got any clear shots of this plant's flowers. This year I got these on the first try.
