Hydrangea.
I said a couple of weeks ago that these redbuds create so much shade they will probably kill all of their neighbors.
You can see what I mean -- the camera's light meter was looking at the redbuds, and in order for the light to be correct for them, the sky is totally blown out........
They are very attractive and interesting (but seriously need to be pruned, I believe, if their neighbors are to survive).

This is the first time I noticed the speckles on the twigs.
