Stinking temp crown fell out again.
I was kind of afraid to eat. It was about 30 hours after it was most recently installed, which was about the amount of time between the first installation and the time it fell out on Friday. I had figured it probably wasn't that secure, because when I drank something cold I could feel it......... I was hoping that was just around the bottom of the tooth/teeth, but I bet not..............
Sigh.
If they can't make it stick at the dentist's office, I don't suppose I am going to be able to make it stick.
Tomorrow I'll visit the substitute dentist.
I am thoroughly sick and tired of going to the dentist....................... At least the sub's office is much closer to home than my regular dentist.
I am *NOT* feeling better off than on Wednesday (before all this began!). From my perspective, all was well on Wednesday. No problem I could detect. Not true now!
(Why on earth would you schedule someone for a *totally* non-emergency crown immediately before you were going out of town for a week? Learn from my experience and check on this before you allow anyone to schedule you for anything of the kind!)
FYI, Kim reports that one can purchase crown glue at Walgreens. I have the cement they sent me home with yesterday, but just so that everyone else knows, too. It never would have occurred to me that this was something a person might be able to take care of at home............
