We were having too much "fun" this weekend for me to be able to get pics edited. I hope to spend some time on that today.
Random musings:
It really takes quite a long time to get a roomful of IKEA furniture built. As soon as you do, you will realize you need one more cabinet. And a lamp. And maybe some rugs.........
Golden delicious apples are actually crisp and nice, purchased locally in the proper season.
Raspberries are good. At $5 a quart from the farmers' market, we are oinking them.
You never know when will be the last day to hang laundry outside, and yesterday may have been it.
We have had spectacular weather this year.
Every time you think you are making "the last trip to IKEA" you are probably wrong. Again. Have fun moving those seats out of (and back into) the car. Especially as IKEA didn't *have* two of the rug you need two of, and the other stuff you bought would not have necessitated the minivan, let alone the minivan sans seats........
Maybe one day we will take the stuff to the thrift store that has been waiting in the minivan. Rather than moving it in and out of the minivan every time we move the seats.
When cars get to be 12 or so, random things are likely to go wrong far more often than anyone would wish. On our way to IKEA yesterday, something holding up the rear end of the exhaust system let go. The exhaust system ended up resting on the axle, so it never dragged, but you could hear it bouncing. Hope it didn't hurt brake lines or anything like that, which looked like they were fastened to the axle.
It is Very Good to have your car dealership one mile from your house.
It is hard to decide who to hate more, ATT or Comcast (the cable company).
Both of us have hair the length we prefer, for the first time in months. I can do mine whenever I want, but if he wants me to do his, he can't be on the golf course. Or at the bridge table..........
Stopped the dog's rimadyl yesterday. Cross your fingers for us that he is able to maintain a normal temp without artificial aids.
Two reasonably intelligent and not totally klutzy adults ought to be able to take a generally cooperative dog's temperature. This remains unproven. We'll try it tonight...........
