Wibbs in the late morning

I decided we had to go back to the vet.

His temp was back up to 104.4. The vet we saw is the one who was in charge of him yesterday. She thinks it is time to knock him out and take the dental xrays. She showed us how it is now red all around one tooth (upper, right side, same side as gooey eye.....). So either there's infection there "or it could be a mass"......................

Hoping for infection seems ... sorta sick ... and yet.................

The results of the aspiration of the lymph node came back showing inflammation but no cancer seen there, at least. So that's good.

This doc says she thinks it is more likely that it is infection.

Let's hope she's right!

They kept him, to do the xrays, and then, if they find infection, they'll pull the tooth. Hoping for that!!!!!

He's not a spring chicken (will be 11 in November, more or less), and he's sick, but they said his blood work was fine on Saturday, so he should tolerate the anesthesia well.

Surely hoping for a happy resolution to this.
