I've been looking at the Eiffel Tower via the webcam you can access if you click the "Paris weather" button on the right for over a year.
I saw the stars go up and the Tower's nightly illumination turn blue to mark France's turn as the country whose prez was prez of the EU.
I saw the stars come down and the nighttime illumination turn back to goldy-white.
Just now I looked and the Tower is red and white. ???
Google knows everything. I found out that these are the colors of Turkey from today through Oct 11. (scroll down if you click through; this is at the bottom of the page)
As I've been looking on since May of last year, I am interested to note that there are often things I've never seen before. Last week I saw the moon come up next to the tower.
