Of course the U isn't all about handsome Diagonals and fall-yellow hostas.
Many people think you can never have too many parking structures, and that the ones you have are always enhanced by expansion....................
A giant bag of discarded concrete.

A giant expansion of the Thompson Street parking structure.

Ok.
Turning our backs on that.
Maple.

What I really wanted to show, with this sycamore leaf, was how un-flat it was.
The place where the stem comes out of the leaf was at least two inches up in the air from the sidewalk..........
Then when I was getting the pic, I was so taken by the points around the edges of the leaf that I lost my original intent............

Crows on the front yard of my office building.
There were three, either on the ground or on the picnic table (bench at right).
I didn't notice the one up in a tree until it told the others that I was paying rather too much attention to them and they should scatter and gain some altitude.

I had my office window wide open all day.
I love these little IKEA dishes. I've been wanting a set of them every time I go in that place, and when we got the rugs, I decided I could have them if I want.
Don't they look nice?

Orange and green.
