Don't you love those I ROCK!!!!!!! moments?

We backed up everything we thought we might ever want from the newer computer's hard drive to the external drive.

Then I put everything back like it was before I began moving things around on Friday, and everything works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, works as well as it did Friday morning.

That is to say -- the older computer works just fine and recognizes its extra internal drive (which was unplugged so I could plug in the drive from the other computer), and the newer computer recognizes and attempts to boot from its hard drive.

And fails, just like it was doing on Friday, but at least we know I put the drive back correctly.

Yay!

My better half is wrestling with the newer computer, hoping to be able to fix it without wiping the drive and starting over.

I hope for that, too, but somehow think it unlikely...............


As for Wibbs, he seems to feel just fine. Yesterday I cut his toes for the first time in weeks and weeks. And -- one nail is red around the base. It doesn't seem like the toe is sore, but.............

I guess we'll be heading over to the vet this week...................
