Some people clean the leaves and other debris from their gutters.
Some just toss the gutters and get new ones.
Dead gutter, hanging by a thread................
The old gutters themselves were in fine shape. But they leaked from every joint. We had tried replacing the sealant, to no avail.
Replacing gutters isn't as noisy as replacing a roof, and doesn't take as long, but still is not a fun way to spend money, or a day of your life.............

you are right it is not the most easy job in the world but a lot of people think it is but you have to get the fall right and brackets etc right. If you do not always do your own work could I suggest a good book which i think is just right for this type of thing Called Lets Get The Builder In by Andrew Cooke from Amazon on line, give it a try I think you will be pleased
