now

.

Sometimes, when I get way behind posting the days, it makes me itchy.

Here is now. A nice peaceful morning.

Thankful for nice secure varmint-proof caps on the chimney. Every time I see a squirrel, I wonder if it is the one we unwillingly hosted for all those days last fall.....

This one was enjoying the sun on the tulip tree outside our study window.

Wilbur is not particularly interested in happenings outside, unless it is dogs, or unless someone actually rings our doorbell. (you can see the squirrel in the upper left corner of the window)

He does love being in the sunshine.

You can see that he still has poodle-wrists. They were shaved for his IVs when hospitalized in September.

So far, knock on wood!, he seems fine. He will have been off the baytril for two weeks tomorrow evening.............

Great pics...the squirrel in the distance. Happy that the pup is doing well.

I need orange said...

Thanks.

He had a mystery fever. They never did figure out what (exactly) was wrong, but as the baytril seems to have knocked it out (knocking on wood!), we'll be happy with that solution. A scary percentage of fevers (in dogs, and in humans) are due to cancer or auto-immune diseases. I hadn't known that.............
