My better half didn't go in to work the week of December's low 20s.
He usually drops me at my office on his way to his, so I walked in each morning.
On the 24th, I admired seasonal window embellishments.

And bought some new wool knee socks. Sam's has quite a good selection. Many different styles.

My family joined me downtown for lunch, and then we went to check out the university's museum of art, which has a very large new addition.
They had only been able to display a very small fraction of their collection in the old space. I was interested to see some of the things that had not been on display.
These images appear in the order I wandered past the originals in the museum, so the lack of organization is due to my meandering path.........
I didn't know they had such a large collection of ceramics.
Chinese horse.

Stone Buddha fragment from Thailand.

Painting by Helen Frankenthaler.

Bone votive plaque from Thailand.

Stone Vishnu from the northeaster part of the Indian sub-continent.
Effective lighting, yes?
