I actually sewed something!

I hadn't used the sewing machine in a looooong time.

(You'll recall that I needed bobbins........)

I promised the daughter that I would do custom pillowcases.

Much hunting for the proper cranberry, with mailing of possibilities off to Baltimore, eventually resulted in a purchase of the best fabric.

Then we waited on the bobbins............

The pillowcases were actually constructed over Thanksgiving, and went back to Baltimore then.

This is the frayed edge of the fabric, removed before the fabric became pillowcases.

I liked its look, and like it with its shadow.
