As is our usual custom, we celebrated New Year's Eve by making fudge (the low-brow marshmallow creme version) and watching Times Square on tv.
Times Square was a disappointment -- too many talking heads and not enough watching the ball drop -- but the fudge never disappoints.
We don't scrape alllll of it into the pieplate, and when we are done eating what's left in the pan, we sometimes have to have a bit more..........
May a bigger percentage of the world's population get enough to eat in 2010 than ever before.
