updates

.

Wibble apparently fine.

Whew.

Taking pics and blogging them before breakfast on a work day is a stretch!

I'll be terse!

Knitted!

At the decision point about decreasing for the toe.

It's big. Felted stuff has to be big; felting shrinks things.

But it's knitted tightly, so won't shrink as much as if it were knitted looser.....

And.

I love the nice neat back and forth garter.

But.

Hadn't been thinking that when I was going round and round instead of back and forth I'd have to be purling.

Not such a big deal.

But.

When you knit round and round and round in a beautiful growing stockinette spiral, all is well with the world.

When you knit any sort of pattern, round and round, you can see the break when you try to knit that spiral in rows................

We'll see how this looks after felting, but I bet it's going to be visible.

I may need to rearrange where the rows change and put them on the bottom of my foot.....

This closeup is at the left, where the top of the foot joins the left side of the foot......
