Well, yes, but a lot farther away than it looks......
I hadn't realized (in all the years we've lived here!) that downtown is visible from my upstairs. The trees obscure the buildings enough that I hadn't realized they can be seen if you look.
This is the sunset, reflected in the windows of buildings downtown.

I was so surprised.
We have lived in this house since 1985, and I had never before noticed that we can see the buildings downtown from here.........
There are so many trees and houses in the way. I really can't see the downtown buildings when I look for them, even though I now know they are there, unless they are lit up by the setting sun........
