The western sky had very distinct pink and blue bands, on the 15th.
The pink and blue continued well to the south. This tree is on the southeast corner of my block.
The camera didn't see the bands of color as distinctly as I did.
You can see that the tree is thinking of blooming. Or perhaps was actually beginning to bloom. I walked under that tree on the 19th, and it was blooming then, definitely.
It's a silver maple.
