I believe I knew about all of these but avocado.

And I know there is major disagreement on the raw meat thing. But the rest of it looks like good information....

Just think about all those poor wild wolves, coyotes, etc. that had to eat raw meat/bone. My guess is the slide show was financed by one of the dog food companies that are determined to turn the carnivores into herbivores (and to sell many bags of grain-filled kibble).

There were many foods listed that are harmful to pets.

Yeah, the only one I thought was just ... wrong ... was the raw meat one.

I do wonder about parasites in meat.

I know dogs are much less likely than humans to have trouble with bacteria, but I wonder about worms and paramecia and so on, along the line of the "fish disease" they mention.

I think maybe I had sort of heard of avocados, but assumed it was the fat....

Good to know that's not it, because I might have thought that "a little won't hurt him"!
