Reflection in a gutter puddle.

Spirea.

Clover.

Thinking that middle formation has an Audreyesque aspect......

Pointy porch roof on one of my favorite 5th Ave houses.

For the last while the tree flowers have been on the locust trees. They don't look like much, but they surely smell good. Here is the aftermath.

Oh my.
NOW what?
They are ripping everything out of the giant planter in front of the library?????
I mean, ok, I agree that those red-leafed redbuds make too much shade for the smaller plants under them, but good grief! It was only a very few years ago that they put way too many amelanchiers in here and then ripped them out to plant the hydrangeas, daylilies, and redbuds that were here last week........
I have really loved taking pics of those redbud leaves in the late late fall......

You remember that hydrangea we've looked at over and over (and over and over -- pretty much every time I leave the library, once it blooms)?
Well, this is where it was.

Sheesh!
Sure, construction guys, just put a few loads of gravel in the street -- no one will mind.............
Right up there where the line of trucks is parked (where no mere mortals are allowed to park, I will note, snakily) is where there used to be a parking lot just to the right but which now is the AnnArborsbad cavern.....................
I swear I am ready to move.
Everywhere I turn, things are being destroyed............. And for what? Half the time I don't even know, and 90% of the time for something I wouldn't agree to if anyone asked.........
Sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss..................

A good half a mile later, I have, perhaps, walked off enough ... hmmm ... "annoyance" is annoyingly understated ... to notice pleasant things.
Here is a poppy, with the late afternoon light blowing through it.

What's left of a poppy after the petals fall.

Clematis.

I have no idea what this is. Small tree.
Replete with bloom on the 26th. Later there will be small fruits, which are pendant just like the flowers.

Looking up at the flowers.....
