May 5, part 1

.

The nearer building is Rackham, which houses graduate school offices as well as a very nice auditorium. The farther building is the ritzy new dorm which has taken the space formerly occupied by the Frieze Building.

This shrub is in front of Rackham. Amazingly red anthers!

Clearly quite popular with some sort(s?) of leaf-eaters.....

Perhaps she and/or her babies will help this shrub by consuming its predators.....

The trunk and branches supporting the flowers we've been examining.

Standing with my back to Rackham, looking toward the graduate library in the southerly distance.

If we zoom in a bit, you can see the grad library better.

The ritzy new dorm on the Frieze Building's space.

The league. Burton Tower is behind me.

Grad library.

Yew -- spiraling new growth.

Part of a well-kept campus is enduring ... this.

Very glad *this* was not operating! If it had been, I would not have these pics as I would have avoided the noise Noise NOISE.

Aftermath of the concrete buster.
