I am taking Marie Otero's Digital Magic on-line class.

It started the day before we left for Baltimore.... I am working on getting caught up.

Things learned:

a bit about the "soft light" blending mode, and when you might want to use it

that you can use "inside" and "outside" to position your "stroke"

that you can make a new layer that is the result of all of your manipulations so far

that you can mess with the size and opacity of your drop shadows, as well as setting the angle from which the light comes and the distance of your [whatever] from the surface below
