June 15, part 1

.

I had never seen one of these outside a health-care facility......

Wanna guess where I saw it?

In the ladies' room, here................

We were off to Baltimore, Maryland (or Bawlmer, Merlin, as a native might pronounce it).

Our daughter went to college in Baltimore, and worked there for the last year. She was ready to move back to Michigan for an opportunity she has her eye on here. We went to help with the movement of Stuff from there to here.

I love flying........................

I love taking off -- the moment when all that power results in lift off.........

I love watching the ground get small......

(look how pretty and green Michigan is at present!)

I love the view of the sky you can't get anywhere else.....

I love the view of our world you can't get from anywhere else.....

Detroit suburbs go on and on and on and on.....

We got a good look at downtown Detroit on this trip.

This is the Ambassador Bridge, connecting Detroit, Michigan, USA to Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Just a little bit up the river from the bridge.....

Detroit's baseball and hockey teams play right downtown.

Here's a better look at the Ren Cen.

Michigan in the upper left, otherwise, Ontario.

Windsor is much smaller than Detroit -- farmland already.

The Great Lakes are Large.

See the clouds coming along, under the wing?

The whole rest of the flight was over solid clouds.

Under the cloud cover over Baltimore, Maryland, too, is green.

On the curb, just in front of our daughter's apartment building. There were oak leaves, and acorns, right here, too. Perhaps this piece of bark also belonged to an oak.

Daylily in a garden beside the apartment building.
