July 13

.

Lunchtime. South face of Tower Plaza. With clouds.

The University's Student Activities building (home of undergrad admissions) on the left.

And serendipitous pink person.

I went through the Institute for Social Research building on my way back to work.

ISR honors its founders.

The small print reads:

Respected colleague, collaborator, and inspiring leader.

Found Director, Survey Research Center and Institute for Social Research.

Innovator in measuring organizations and promoting positive change.

Inventor of the Likert measurement scale.

Advocate of social research for social benefit.

Walking home after work.

Golden rain tree pods. Lots bigger than the last time we saw them.

Attractive bed of coneflowers and phlox, in front of the osteopath's office on Fourth Ave.

Gladiolas.

Purple pollen!

The glads were wet. The sky looked like this. I did not get rained on.

Cherry tomatoes.

Supper. Isn't this gorgeous? It was delicious, too.

There was an oriental flair -- sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic. The broccoli and the yellow pepper had been cooked just a bit, and the cabbage just got the heat from the hot pasta.

Yum.

Hanging out, after dinner. Had to catch his one paw, curled around the other.

Walking, later.

Don't you love to eat beautiful food? I always feel that it must be even better for me, when I admire all the colors as I am eating.............

:-)

Our chef is in final preparations for a research trip to France. We are going to miss all the lovely and delicious dinners, but look forward to learning about what she discovers in her culinary travels.

That pic of W with his foot curled reminded me of one you posted of one of your napping boys, with his hinders curled adorably.......
