July 15

On the 15th, I walked to work for the first time in a while.

Cosmos.





Daylilies, phlox, and I bet that's Russian sage.





Oh my.

Love this.

It should be called Raspberry Pistachio Parfait, don't you think?

Since the library saw fit to rip out our favorite hydrangea AND the bed it (and the red-leafed redbuds) lived in, we are having to hunt elsewhere for hydrangeas.

Here's one, by the Detroit Edison building.





The room that is now my shared office used to be a conference room.

On the 15th I noticed for the first time how reflective its enormous whiteboard is.





Did you recognize this, reversed, in the above?





A narrow but fairly serious (all red, on the radar map) front is preparing to come through.
