July 6

.

Daylilies, spotted at lunchtime.

Walking home after work.

Our golden rain tree isn't wasting any time setting seed. You can see there are still a couple of flowers blooming, but it also has pods that are this size already.

Coneflowers.

Phlox.

More coneflowers, with Large Bee.

With nearly-visible web, with slightly-more-visible ... something.

Petunias, with gazing ball. Wonder if this gazing ball was meant to be one, or if it's a giant Christmas ball......

Love the scent of petunias. This bunch was strong enough to pull me back to them as I walked down the sidewalk.

Roses.

Looove these red-velvet daylilies, with the long skinny curly petals.........

It was hot, on the 6th. My family was tired of the heat (we do not have a/c), so we ate at Gourmet Garden instead of getting take-out as we usually do.

There are advantages, other than the coolth, to eating in.

Your plate is embellished with a fancy radish.
