We enjoyed Bayonne (and St. Jean de Luz, to which we took a day trip yesterday.
Today we shifted to Carcassonne, which, aside from un airconditioned trains, was fine.
WE had another lovely dinner (if anyone ever offers you cassoulet, jump on that offer......).
I believe we are getting lots of excellent pics, but are so busy that spenging time messing with pics is pretty much out of the question.
Tomorrow we'll go see the walled city. We got a glimpse of it, all lit up, tonight, but were too tired to do more than look and promise it we'd go tomorrow.
